Nonwovens Definition
Nonwoven fabrics are broadly defined as a sheet or web structure bonded together by entangling fiber or filaments mechanically, thermally or chemically. They are engineered to provide specific properties such as: absorbency, liquid repellency, resilience, stretch, softness, strength, flame retardancy, washability, cushioning, filtering, bacterial barrier and sterility.
